Case Study 5 – Building trust
Delegates often arrive on programmes full of the day to day issues that demand their attention in the workplace.
Our initial aim is to “break state” – to show delegates that their time on the programme will be focused on learning, and how they can apply that back to improving their daily performance in the work place.
Using an exercise like a blindfold rope trail, followed by excellent facilitation, not only builds a real sense of physical trust amongst delegates, but also lays down an immediate marker that this is not a talk and chalk training programme.
